ζωή κήπος

ζωή κήπος.

In greek, these two words mean “life” and “garden”. Very early on in my life, I learned that my first name, Zoe, in greek means life. This was only a fun fact for me until I had read John 10:10.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (NIV)

The greek word that John uses in this verse for life (in some verses “abundant life”) is ζωή, or Zoe.

κήπος, a garden is by nature, full of life. It is only through Jesus and the Holy Spirit that we can not only receive a full and abundant life, but also a life that is continually growing and producing new fruits.

But a garden, is not a constant increase in growth, and neither is life. My goal through this blog is to share the reality of what God has been teaching me through different stages of my life whether through highs or lows.

I am praying that God will use these words to encourage you as His spirit and words have encouraged me.

For His Glory,
